Mr Puddles

We found an abandon puppy one day and it couldn’t have been more than a few weeks old. The puppy was still too young to really eat puppy food, but we managed to get some puppy milk for him to have with his food.

Once we were able to find someone who would take him, we nursed the puppy for about 2 months while they needed time to move into their new home. We called the puppy “Mr. Puddles” because he would leave little puddles all over the place until he learned to go outside. House breaking him was pretty easy as he would follow my older dogs everywhere, and quickly learned to pee outside instead of leaving little puddles everywhere in the house.

We used an old sock, knotted at each end, for a quick and cheap doggy toy. Mr. Puddles and Porter played tug-of-war with it all the time. Porter was a very good dog and knew to be gentle with the puppy.
